We’re thrilled to announce that with Barwood Capital, we won Best Asset Management Initiative for our joint project in Sheffield at the IAS Awards 2024.
Greenland Industrial and Trade Park project involved the comprehensive refurbishment of a redundant retail warehouse asset, re-purposing to industrial use and developing 58,491 sq ft of additional floor area.
This development was sustainably led with a focus on embodied carbon through re-use of the existing structure and was awarded a BREEAM rating of very good.
Adam Smith, Senior Asset Management Director at Barwood, said: "We are delighted to receive recognition for this initiative, which proved our conviction that a redundant retail warehouse can be successfully repurposed. Thanks to our development partner Tungsten Properties, and notably David Mole and Jeff Penman."
