Tungsten Properties, one of the UK’s leading industrial and warehouse developers, has opened a London office and appointed Matt Moran as investment manager.
Matt has more than 10 years’ experience and has joined from Vengrove where he was senior associate focused on UK investment and development transactions within the industrial and logistics sector, which included schemes such as Erdington Industrial Park/Avalon Point in Birmingham and Gem at Danehill in Reading.
Matt started his career at Montagu Evans where he worked in its national business space investment team.
He will be responsible for managing the interface between Tungsten Properties’ capital partners and the development management team which is based in its Leicester HQ.
Matt will be based in Tungsten Properties’ new London office at 33 Cavendish Square, W1 and will work with recently appointed Matt Jones who joined in July as development director. Together they will work closely with the London-based agency and capital communities.
Jeff Penman, managing director, Tungsten Properties said: “We warmly welcome Matt at an important time in our growth strategy where he will bring his extensive London capital investment experience to be the link to our thriving and busy development team. His skillset will help to continue building relationships at a time when the mid and big-box logistics and industrial market shows positive signs of returning occupier and investor confidence. By expanding our office network into London and with a committed development pipeline of 2.8 million sq ft, we are well-placed to cover the UK and be geared-up for future pipeline opportunities.”
Matt Moran, investment manager, Tungsten Properties added: “I’m joining Tungsten Properties at an exciting time as they build on their already strong relationships with capital partners and the agency community. I look forward to helping grow the company’s London presence from the new office at 33 Cavendish Square while working closely with its exceptional development team.”
Matt’s appointment has brought Tungsten Properties’ team to 11 people.
